Epilogue... Goodbye to my Dad

June 11, 2017

This changes everything.

My dad passed away suddenly of a heart attack on June 11.
I miss him.

This blog is primarily for our family.
After each blog entry I wrote, I would send my dad an email with the post attached.
He didn't want to "follow a blog"... He wanted the email.
I loved having this extra little connection with him while keeping him up on what we were doing.

He's gone ahead on the greatest of all adventures.
I can't wait to see you again, Dad.  I love you.

When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation and take me Home,
what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow in humble adoration and there proclaim,
"My God, how Great Thou Art!"

And....
 ...it's over!

We had an amazing time hanging out with great people in our nation's history!
 ...and seeing awesome sights!

...and now we are thankful to be with family,
heading into new adventures together.
Jadan isn't excited about the particular game they just played... but can you see how thankful he is for his cousins?  It's in there!
