Pittsburg
April 17 through 22
Our favorite place to be in Pittsburg was definitely the Baker Home,
but we did get out and about a bit...
We visited Schenley Park, where we found beautiful trails...
...were inspired by George Westinghouse...
...and discovered some fun slate!
We also went as a family to see Lego Batman,
and Tim and I got to go out for dinner while the kids hung out at the Bakers! Yay!!
On our way to DC, we stopped at the Flight 93 Memorial.
A heavy reminder of 9/11 and the bravery of our fellow American citizens.
"A common field one day. A field of honor forever."
On this section of our trip, we will have been to or at least driven through
Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania,
West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland,
Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts!!!
That's a lot of good audio books. 😉
And a lot of good people in this great country.
God bless the USA!
